Membership of the PCPLD Network is open to anyone who is interested in promoting excellent palliative and end of life care for people with learning disabilities. This includes professionals, (family) carers, and people with learning disabilities themselves.
Membership is free. Members receive an electronic newsletter and can, if they wish, receive email alerts of carefully selected conferences, research, meetings and other issues of interest. Requests for help or advice from other members can also be circulated.
To join, email your details to Dr Irene Tuffrey-Wijne at info@pcpld.org. Please include your full name and place of work (if applicable). It also helps us to know whether you are a family carer or a person with learning disabilities. Also let us know if you wish to opt out of receiving email alerts.
The PCPLD Network is run by volunteers. Any donations will be gratefully received. We need some funds for supporting area groups, printing and postage, supporting our annual Linda McEnhill Award (for best practice), organising our conferences, keeping the website up to date, etc.
If you are able to support the PCPLD Network, donations can be made by direct bank transfer: Sort code 30-91-49, account number 02371249
Alternatively, cheques can be sent to the following address:
